About the Manager.

For as long as I can remember, I wanted to own a piece of land in the country. My name is Chris Mitchell, and I am the manager of Land Squared FL LLC, which is located in Florida. I grew up in Northwest Ohio and have fond memories of playing outside in the woods as a kid. I had wanted that for my children as they were growing up, but we could never afford a place in the country. My kids are all grown, and we are now moving into the phase of being grandparents. The desire to own property in the country has never faded, and now more than ever, I’d like to have a place for my grandkids to go play.

I had looked for a long time but could never find what we wanted. Inexpensive land was always too far away to be practical, and the close ones were too expensive.

Eventually, I discovered the model for buying and selling land that we use here at Land Squared LLC. The idea is that many people have inherited small pieces of land, but they don’t want it and aren’t sure how to get rid of it. Others bought with great intentions that have simply never worked out. Their life has moved on, and now they’re saddled with a piece of land that is just costing them money every year in taxes. Either way, the land may be too small to interest most realtors, and the thought of selling it themselves is just too daunting.

This is where we come in. We have invested time and resources into education and technology to help us find properties that are off the market. We then buy them for cash and sell them to people who haven’t been able to find them. We desire that everyone involved in the deal comes out a winner.
